- American Authors - Oh, What A Life
I saw these kiddos last Wednesday and it was brilliant. Although the studio recordings aren't as hyped up as the live renditions, I still love the CD. Good mood music.
Must hear: Ghosts, Believer - Cardinals - Farther Than Love
This local band opened for American Authors and now I'm all about it. They even have a cute little hipster/pretentious blurb inside their album cover that I don't hate. They're very modern jazz? Is that a thing?
Must hear: Farther Than Love, I've Just Seen A Face (Cover) - Artist VS Poet - Sake Of Love
A little more upbeat than their previous releases, but I love 'em.
Must hear: Love Back, Made For Me - Coldplay - Magic
So they're releasing a new album called Ghost Stories and this is the first single. Everyone and their mother is loving it. - Bombay Bicycle Club - So Long, See You Tomorrow
I haven't listened to much of their previous stuff but I like this a lot.
Must hear: It's Alright Now, Whenever, Wherever - Kodaline - In A Perfect World
I had heard so much about this band but for some reason I thought they were hip-hop and that's why I put off listening to them for so long? They're a mellow, acoustic-y piano type of band.
Must hear: One Day, Talk - The Vamps - Last Night
I had no idea they were releasing a new single until the video was in my subscriptions box that other day. It doesn't stray far from their other songs so you'll probably like it. - Now, Now - Threads
Found this one through Tumblr and PSA it's not too recent but this is my list. Like a toned-down version of HAIM, with lyrics like Brand New or something like that.
Must hear: Oh. Hi., But I Do
I also listened to Everyone Knows by Vacationer and Pull Yourself Together And Fall In Love With Me by Cold Mailman a bunch.
