I'm going to pick one favourite from each collection released (CDs, EPs, etc.) in the order that they came out.
- Stay Up Get Down EP
For this one I have to choose Daisy, because it was playing in my headphones almost nonstop during my freshman year of high school. - The Way We Talk EP
If I Only Had A Heart is another one that I adored through the end of middle school and the start of high school. That's when I discovered the band and those songs always mean the most. Lyrics to this song were written all over my binders. - Can't Stop, Won't Stop
Into Your Arms was a song I saw the video for on MuchMusic by chance, and then somehow a snippet of it came with my Blackberry. I love all the songs on this CD but this one makes me feel things. - ...And A Happy New Year
(This is a Christmas album but I'm counting it) You know how I feel about original Christmas songs, well, The Maine has done a few. Ho Ho Hopefully steals a place in my heart, maybe because I can relate but can we ever pinpoint why exactly our favourites became our favourites? Nah. - Black & White
This album is everything to me. It was the first album of theirs that I bought a hard copy of and every once in a while I go back to it. My favourite is Right Girl - it's so catchy and my entire family will belt out the lyrics at any given time. - In Darkness And In Light EP
This EP was one of the first things I ever bought on iTunes, so it is dear to me. Book Of Me And You is my fave. - Pioneer
This one was included in my focus on 2011 and has a lot of great memories associated with it. I'm Sorry always hits me. - The Good Love (Extended version of Pioneer)
I Want You has always gotten me in a good mood. The cover for this one is sick too. - Forever Halloween
I've talked about this so many times I think I've gotten across that I kinda like it. My favourite is probably Sad Songs but looking at the tracklisting now has gotten me torn. - Imaginary Numbers EP
Visions. I love how it starts off with an echo-y bit from These Four Words.
So that's it! I can't stress enough that I love every single song this band has put out and these "favourites" are just the best of the best. I'm stoked to see The Maine play acoustic tonight and will report back sometime next week!
