This was also a week of covers! This was released a while ago but I just found it in my Tumblr likes and fell in love. They gave the song a whole new take and it sounds soothing and magical. - Twenty One Pilots - Can't Help Falling In Love (Cover, Elvis)
Another oldie that I found in my Tumblr likes, whaddaya know? They covered it with a ukulele (see on their YouTube channel), and the voice sounds so nice singing this song I just - One Direction - Story Of My Life
Yes! It's out! And it sounds quite different from what One Direction usually puts out, a tinge of folk and a tinge of teenage girls' tears (mine). Don't write it off because of their image, this is a really cool song, and the video is rumored to bring people to tears (comes out this weekend, if I'm correct). - Katy Perry - Prism
Never been a huge Katy fan, but I have listened to this a few times through in the past 2 days and I like it. She makes me feel like a strong independent woman, and got me walking through my school halls like I owned it. Some tracks that stood out are This Is How We Do and International Smile. - 5 Seconds Of Summer - I Miss You (Cover, Blink 182)
My friend texted me the other day asking a question about who sang one of the verses, and then I accidentally had this song on repeat for the rest of the day. I'll quote my friend on this, "it's so good it gives me the sicks."
