- The Summer Set - Everything's Fine
This album means very much a lot to me, and I've even got the symbol used for the album tattooed on me. It's their most chill album and I appreciate their decision to take a risk, as well as the overall theme of moving on. I have a whole post about this band, if you're curious. - Simple Plan - Get You Heart On!
What really got me back into this band, and convinced me to see them in concert. Canadian pride! A collaboration with Alex Gaskarth, Rivers Cuomo, Natasha Bedingfield? Yeah, that happened. - All Time Low - Dirty Work
Some say this album is the band's worst, but I really enjoyed it. A Daydream Away is one of my favourite ATL songs, clearly this album wasn't a waste. - The Cab - Symphony Soldier
BRILLIANT. Alex Deleon's voice is heavenly. When does their new album come out? The concept for this album was so unique, every song is a winner. - Owl City - All Things Bright And Beautiful
I'd never been huge on Owl City but I really like this one. - One Direction - Up All Night
It didn't come out here until 2012, but y'all know me - I had it anyways. The start of a beautiful journey that I took with these guys. Don't pretend you don't know the words to What Makes You Beautiful. - Demi Lovato - Unbroken
Her comeback album - not my favourite of hers but Skyscraper, Fix A Heart, and Give Your Heart A Break are A+ tracks. The more hip-hop songs bring out the diva in me so they're good for walking to school or dancing around my bedroom. - Noah And The Whale - Last Night On Earth
Got into this band because a guy in my History class (that I may have had a little crush on) tweeted about them. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. is still played pretty frequently by me. - Yellowcard - When You're Through Thinking, Say Yes
I just really liked this and remember listening to it non-stop for months. Yellowcard makes me feel notalgic. - Lights - Siberia
Oops, downloaded this one because of a (different) cute boy. It has a really cool sound and Lights is really cool and she's Canadian. So. - We The Kings - Sunshine State Of Mind
This album is the epitome of summer for me. I played it so much that year that I can associate the songs with fond memories of driving to Lake Superior, hiking with my family, going to the beach. It makes me feel warm. - Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto
Got this for my dad for Christmas and we listened to it all winter long. Again, I'd never really been into Coldplay before this but man, I played the shit out of Mylo Xyloto. - Marianas Trench - Ever After
This is one of the best flowing albums I've heard, as it's literally one long song. This is when the rest of the world caught wind of how genius the band was, and my proud was out the window. - Hot Chelle Rae- Whatever
This album was the sountrack to summer 2012 for me. Every single song is a gem, and I get so happy listening to it all. - The Maine - Pioneer
One of my favourite bands to this day, this album was when they started getting a bit edgier and I adore it all. I'm Sorry, Don't Give Up On (Us), etc. it's full of good tunes. - Hedley - Storms
I love everything this band puts out and this is no exception. My whole family loves this CD to death.

Focus: 2011
Happy Saturday! 2011 was a great year for music, in my opinion. I'm gonna tell you about a few things that came out that year, and why I'm still obsessed today.
