This week has been a lot of revisiting old albums and little new music (and I know I usually post Wednesday of Thursday) but it's my blog and I'm gonna talk about what I've been listening to, OK?
- Parachute - Red/Let Her Go (Cover/Mashup)
Have I ever mentioned a cover? This could be a first, but this is a wonderful cover. It's posted on their YouTube channel and is so beautiful. I never realized how well these two songs fit together, sounds and lyric-wise but now I do. If it wasn't clear, the two songs are Red by Taylor Swift and Let Her Go by Passenger. Love it.
- McFly - Love Is On The Radio
At first glance, I assumed this would be a mashup of their 2 songs Love Is Easy and One For The Radio, but I was wrong. The lyric video has just been posted and it has a bit more of a Western vibe than their previous stuff but it's getting me curious about what's in store on their upcoming album!
- St. Lucia - Elevate
iTunes free single of the week, everybody. It's cool, upbeat, studying music.
- The Script - Nothing
My friend and I were listening to her iPod on the way home from Toronto on Tuesday and this came on shuffle and now I'm can't stop listening to it. It isn't a new song, but it's new to me and now I'm venturing further into The Script as I've only heard the singles.
That's all for this week, next week I'm on break from school and may have more time/better internet connection to think up these lists. Some news:
- The Jonas Brothers still haven't addressed the situation
- Olly Murs deluxe edition of Right Place Right Time
- Fifth Harmony EP is a thing that's happening (and has been leaked/released? I'm not sure because I haven't been keeping up with them)
- New Plug In Stereo single featuring Megan & Liz! I'd include it in the list but I've only listened to it once, and I wasn't focused.
