This Week In Music: 12/03/14

After that huge compilation post on Monday this list is going to be a let-down but

• One Direction - Midnight Memories EP
  It's such a waste, if you have the money buy it but really ugh. I'm a sucker for live music (3/4 tracks are live) and this band so I went ahead and got it but yeah. It's whatever. I will say their impeccable harmonies become clearer when you hear them live. 
• Us - No Matter Where You Are
  They remind me a lot of Alex & Sierra, they're and adorable couple making adorable music. Heartbreak is a good track.
• Aloe Blacc - Lift Your Spirit
  iTunes single of the week. It has similar themes to Happy by Pharrell, and a similar sound. 

Other than those, we have CHVRCHES cover of Team, done in Radio 1's Live Lounge, Walk Off The Earth's cover of Happy with Parachute, Plug In Stereo covered Truly, Madly, Deeply (he helped write it), and Hunter Hayes' album announcement (Storyline, May 6th).
Side note: last week I forgot to mention the iTunes single of the week, because it was by American Authors and I had already bought their album!
