This Week In Music: 29/01/14

It's the last post in January (and I still haven't gotten used to writing the date like that)!

  • Hunter Hayes - Invisible
If you somehow missed the Grammy's on Sunday, you'd have missed him premiere this song. I know last week I saved the best for last but I couldn't wait to mention this one. I find myself relating to this song pretty heavily, and especially with Bell's "Let's Talk" day yesterday, it just fit.
  • You Me At Six - Cavalier Youth
I think I'v been counting down the days to this album since October, and it was well worth it. It has the same feel as their other releases, and the more I listen to it, the more lyrics I pick out that I love.
Must hear: Forgive And Forget, Room To Breathe, Be Who You Are
  • We Are The In Crowd - Windows In Heaven
Hopeless Records posted this on their YouTube earlier in the week, to build hype for the album coming out soon. It's a bit different from a typical WATIC song, especially because Jordan's voice doesn't make an appearance and the beat is heavily electronic but I think I like it.
  • Little Mix - Word Up
This came out a bit ago but I hadn't gotten around to listening to it until now. It's their Sport Relief single and like every other song of theirs, it makes me wanna dance around my room.
  • Bayside - Time Has Come
I downloaded this one on a whim after seeing in my subscription feed, and I have been listening to it quite a bit.
  • Deaf Havana - Boston Square
iTunes single of the week, something I'd expect to hear on one of my dad's favourite radio stations. Very rock, almost 80s/90s feel.
  • Modern Baseball - Rock Bottom
I wasn't really paying attention when this song came on shuffle but then a few of the lyrics sparked my interest and yeah, it pretty much describes my senior year. Beginning to really like this band.
