So this year, if you're my friend - chances are you're getting a present that's musical. My closest friends are getting concert tickets (such an easy gift when you have the friends I have), and my long distance friends are all being sent mix CDs that I've made (with a theme of their request). I'm just really excited about this, and as a result it looks like I'm going to be getting a CD in the mail sometimes soon.
Making mix CDs is one of the most fun things I've done lately, it lets me be creative and think about what the other person likes, maybe introducing them to a band that could very well become a favourite. It doesn't cost much but it's so personable and unique, I just love it. The only thing is that I'm not sure they'd tell me if they didn't like it, and I don't wanna keep giving them crappy mixtapes at every holiday so if any of my friends are reading this: BE HONEST.
