I think we know where this is going..
- One Direction - Midnight Memories
What a beautiful thing. I did a full review so I won't go on about it again.
Must hear: Better Than Words, Strong, Alive, Happily
- Frank Turner
I was recently introduced to this lovely man by a friend and I am so thankful for it. He sounds kind of like an old Scottish folk singer and his songs are really clever and sarcastic and interesting.
Sounds like: Passenger, The Proclaimers
- Jonas Brothers - LiVe
I'm really bitter about this release but that doesn't mean it doesn't sound great. I'm just upset because the 4 new songs we got sounds really good and why couldn't they just release the whole album?? I'm a sucker for a live CD and the studio version of Wedding Bells is everything I wanted it to be.
- Adele - I Can't Make You Love Me (Bon Iver cover)
This was recorded at her Royal Albert Hall DVD thing and I've just now heard it. It's a great song and it's a live cover and Adele has such a great voice I see myself slipping back into the great Adele phase of 2011.
- Bastille - The Draw
This is another song off the deluxe CD, All This Bad Blood. I like it, that's all.
- Alex & Sierra - Best Song Ever (One Direction cover)
They did this a few weeks back on X Factor and it's so pretty.
- Basia Bulat - Tall Tall Shadow
I am at a loss for words this week but this is a very bouncy song. I'm bopping my head to it right now. iTunes single of the week, so for the low low cost of $0 you could also be bopping your head to this song.
Some news I guess:
- One Direction have officially announced their North American leg of the Where We Are Tour
- August 1st, 1st NA show, Toronto. BOOM.
- I'm seeing This Century next week!
